I am going to fast distracting myself with my cell phone or my computer. Basically doing two screen things at once, for example, FB and TV, emailing and TV, or trying to sleep with the TV on, etc.. I am hoping to be more present to the moment during Leap of Faith and hoping this will open up new opportunities to hear from God.

I once read a bumper sticker that said “Never apologize for your art.” It resonated with me so I wrote it down in the day planner that I had at the time. As I prayed and thought about what I wanted to give up for this season of lent, that phrase came to mind. So I’m going to stop apologizing for my art — my way of being, who I am.
